September 11th Memorial

In the begining, like right after it happened, there were flags everywhere. America united as one. Every where you turned there it was...movies of the events that occured that day, people being "patriotic." Now, six years later theres hardly any mention of it compared to a couple of years ago. It was a tragic time and I suppose America felt they should stand up. Why shouldn't they?! But where are they now? What do those that died get? 2 seconds of "remember" and on with the morning anouncments while there family continues their mourning. I'm not really sure how the country has changed...as usual they stepped up in a time of need. When things got bad we did not fall. I dont really know what more to say. Nor do i understand the point i was trying to make. I suppose i dont understand the way the world works especially in times when we're not "in need" But aren't we always in need? ...or maybe....im just not that great at explaining how i feel and the fact that others are going to read this makes me nervous and i ramble when i'm nervous. So.

But none the less...I'm remembering September 11th.
